Domiciliary care
At Little Oak Healthcare, we understand that every individual is unique and therefore your package of care should be tailored in a way that meets all your individual needs. Our domiciliary care service will provide you with the one-to-one support you need to remain comfortable in your own home.
- Personal Care– We don’t always choose to be in a position where we are unable to complete our own personal care. Which is why for many, entrusting others to complete our personal care can be daunting. Our support staff all understand the importance of maintaining the privacy, respect and dignity of our clients at all times whilst assisting you to meet all your personal care needs.
● Nutrition and Hydration-At Little Oak Healthcare, we understand the importance of good nutrition and hydration in maintaining good physical health and Mental Well-being. All our support staff are trained in food hygiene and nutrition and can monitor food and fluid intake, especially with our elderly clients who require extra nutritional support. We cater to meet all dietary requirements by carefully planning all your meals with you. Should you require support with eating or drinking, our support staff are happy to assist.Should you wish to chat with us about further dietary and hydration requirements, please contact our team. - ● Administering medication: Taking medication, whether starting a new course or an ongoing prescription can often feel so complex and confusing, especially when you are expected to make sense of a NOMAD or Mars chart. We are here to support you. Our team works seamlessly with hospital discharge teams and ward Medical Doctors, pharmacists and GPs to ensure that clients are supported in receiving the correct and safe dose of medication and making sure it is taken at the right time. Our team is fully trained and qualified in administering all types of medication which can be in the form of a NOMAD or MARS chart pre-packaged by the hospital or local pharmacy. We are also trained to administer other forms of medication i.e creams, inhalers, nebulisers and even nose/eye or ear drops. Our medications service also allows us to re-order medication, collect and deliver medications from the pharmacy to the clients home. This takes the burden and anxiety of monitoring medication off our clients and their families, providing peace of mind that their medicinal needs are being taken care of by us.
● Domestic Assistance- Nothing is ever too much for us. We are happy to provide assistance in all day- to day chores or activities. This can be as simple as taking a walk with you to maintain your physical fitness to assisting you with your weekly shopping or simply cleaning your home. Our support staff will ensure all your needs are met.
● Hospital to home- The transition from a long hospital stay to finally going home can be very daunting for many people. Our staff at little Oak Healthcare will support you and take care of all the tasks required for you to have a comfortable return home. This can be heating your home before you get home or ensuring that you have a nice hot cup of tea waiting for you when you get home, our staff are on hand.
● Overnight Care- Our overnight service will provide you and your loved ones with the reassurance that someone is at hand should they need something in the night.

Live in care:- Our live in care service provides you with that 24-hr care and companionship in the comfort of your home. Live-in care allows you to thrive and maintain independence in a warm and familiar surrounding that is your home. All our live-in carers are well-trained professionals who have the skills and capacity to handle any care situations, providing you with exceptional, top-quality care to meet your individual needs.

Respite Care:
Our Respite care service gives you that much needed break from your carer duties so you can have time to yourself doing the things you enjoy, personal errands whilst having peace of mind knowing that your loved one is in good hands. At Little Oak Healthcare, we understand the importance of looking after yourself first and having that opportunity to feel well rested and recharged so you are better able to look after your loved one. Our Support staff are well trained and have exceptional skills to provide your loved ones with the care they require whilst you take that break.
Our Respite care packages range from:
❖ Short-term package of care- for when you have i.e holiday booked
❖ Long -term package of care- this is for when regular respite care is required, usually for more complex clients.

Caring for a loved one with dementia can take its toll on you, mentally, physically and emotionally. Dementia is becoming more prevalent amongst our aging population with current statistics showing that there’s approximately 900,000 people living with dementia in 2023 with figures projected to rise to 1.6million people with dementia by 2040. At Little Oak Healthcare, we understand how difficult and challenging it is caring for a loved one that has dementia. We know the importance of providing early support to families, so they are better.
Palliative Care
Following a diagnosis of a long-term life-limiting illness, the future can seem daunting for both patients and their loved ones. At Little Oak Healthcare, we believe that everyone should have a choice to remain in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by their loved ones. Our home care team have the expertise to support you and your loved ones in this challenging time whilst ensuring that all your individualized care needs are met in a compassionate, dignified and comfortable manner.
End Of Life Care
End of Life Care involves treatment, care and support to those nearing the end of their life. Our highly trained and experienced homecare team will liaise with you and your loved ones to create a bespoke care plan tailored to meet your individualized needs and what matters the most to you. We will support you and enable you to make the most of your time together with family and friends.
We work very closely with hospices, GP’s, district nurses and hospital continuing healthcare teams to ensure that the same level of care and support continues in the comfort of your home.
